Humanity's Greatest Challenge

Climate change is humanity's greatest challenge. Climate change is one caused by us, humans. We are destroying our nature. Climate change is caused by Global warming, the abnormal heating of the earth for too much heat is received by the earth from the sun due to the depletion of the ozone layer.
Do you notice? In the summer, rain falls and during the 'ber months, we experience too much heat. That is one cause of global warming. We must help each other in preserving our environment for the future. According  to Henry Miller, "The world is not to be put in order, The world is in order. It is for us to put ourselves in unison with this order."
Climate change is humanity's greatest challenge and we must act together or else face the consequences. :)

Love English :)

Language is the most important tool of communication. Through this, people can easily communicate with each other. Without this, do you think there is a unity behind the shadows of every nation around the world? I can't imagine how we are today without Language.

English Language is one of the widely-used Language in the world. This Language plays a big role in the New World. It is the key in the development of the economy in every country in the world. English Language is one of the cause of Unity among Nations.

I don't deny the fact that some or almost all of us are afraid to use the English Language. Why? Because we are afraid to commit grammatical errors and it's quite embarrassing. Practice how to use the English Language, practice how to speak fluently, without committing grammatical errors.
English is a very mysterious, amazing, influential Language. It serves as a bridge to all Nations across those oceans and seas. Love English!

Equality!!

We were born from different countries, different races. We were born with different physical attributes, characteristics, manners and different ambitions in life.  We are what we are. We are unique. We have characteristics in common but we are unique. But some people are has an extraordinary characteristics, or talents that make them stand out. But no matter how superior they was, we need EQUALITY.  All of us should be aware of our rights as human beings. All of us must be treated equally. No discrimination. No abusing. No favoritism. Knowing our rights and opportunities will help us cope with life. We know what to fight for, what to sacrifice for, what to live for. Yes, there are times when our rights were overlooked or abused. That’s why there is a need for everyone to know each our rights and that we can always stand up for ourselves.

We were all born through God’s will and image. We are all different but we are loved equally by the Lord. Let's treat each other EQUALLY.

Reflection (2nd Grading Period)

ICT has become an integral and accepted part of everyday life for many people. ICT is increasing in importance in people’s lives and it is expected that this trend will continue, to the extent that ICT literacy will become a functional requirement for people’s work, social, and personal lives.

ICT is one of my favorite subjects since I am in High School. In my fourth year in High School, specifically in the first grading, I learned the steps in creating my own blog, history on the development of the internet, All about the internet, and others.

I have encountered some uncommon problems like I lacked of time in finishing my Activities like my posts. Sometimes, I am also lazy in doing my activities. I am so so Sorry. W also lacked of time in some of our discussions because of some activities in our school.

To solve those problems of mine, I need to manage my time. Work when we are given time to work, and finish my activities on time and I will do my best to change my bad study habits and improve my good habits in studying.

Moving on, I will do my best in all of my subjects, not only in ICT in the next grading, I will focus on my studies. :)

My Teacher My Hero

Teachers, best heroes of the Mo for school, they are the one who will take good care of us, teaches us not only academic lessons but the true lessons of our everyday life.

There's no police, on without teachers. Being a teacher is not an easy position, they give almost all of their time for their students; their sons and daughters. Sometimes, they don't have any time for themselves just because they are planning for the next lessons they will taught to us. We learn from them and they learn from us. Love our teachers, take good care of them as hey also love and care for us. I am lucky to have my teachers. :)

Modern Day Heroes

What's the first thing that came into your mind when you heard the word "Heroes"? I thing you thought about Spiderman, Batman, the Avengers, or your fictional heroes.

Well, that's not true They are not the heroes of your fictional heroes. For me, my heroes are my Parents. Yes! my parents. They are the one who loves us like no others, the one that truly love us and will never leave us.  We, human, were born from our mother. We, human, were born from our mother. Children all have parents and we can not exist in this world without a parent. Besides, children can not grow by themselves and They need help from adults. It is not too much to say that children's characters are decided by their parent's policy how their child rise. We can not define what kinds of parent is the best. I believe, however, that there are common thing being good parent. It is "love".

They always think what's good for us. I love my parents. :)) I'm not here without them.

Science Month 2014

We all know the popular saying “Health is Wealth”. By health we do not mean the absence of physical troubles only. But it is a state of complete physical;, mental and social well-being. The loss of health is loss of all happiness. Mahatma Gandhi also says, “It is health which is real wealth, and not pieces of gold and silver”.
Good health depends on several things. Fresh air and sunlight are very important for our health. A dirty and damp atmosphere causes lots of diseases. So a morning walk is very useful for health. Fresh and pure drinking water is also necessary for good health. Impure drinking- water is the cause of several diseases. So, we must take care of these things.
We must know some simple rules of hygiene. Our house must be airy and sunny. Apart from all this, we must form good habits. We should keep ourselves free from cares and anxieties. Early rising is equally necessary for good health. So we must try to keep fit. Health is the real wealth. Health is very important for every living thing in the world, we must all do our best to keep ourselves healthy. :)

A Letter To The President

Dear Mr. President,

Hello! By the way, I'm Kent, 15 years of age and a student of Ilocos Sur National High School. I wrote this letter to inform you that still, I haven't seen yet the change you promised to us Filipinos. I haven't seen yet the straight road you had campaigned before.

These are some of the things I want to tell you. First, about the economy of the Philippines. I am really anxious about the future of our Country. Second, about those illegal mining activities in the Philippines which can affect the environment and at the same time, the natural resources are also affected. Third, the growing number of young men who are experiencing the number one variable which can affect the capability of a child to enter a school, and that is the poverty. Please help those young men who are not capable of entering a school to help them fulfill their dreams in life because we all know the saying, "Ang kabataan ang pag-sa ng Bayan." Please make a campaign or rather create an exclusive school for them. That's all, thank you Mr. President.

                                                                                                 Your Kababayan,
                                                                                                 Kent Humphrey Madriaga
